Summer Recreation Activities

The City of Rehoboth Beach offers recreational programming that brings creativity, activity, camaraderie, and fun to the summer months for residents and visitors of all ages.

In summer 2023, weekly programming includes arts and craft activities for children ages 2-12 at 9 am Mondays and Wednesdays, June 19 through August 23, at Grove Park.

From 6-7 pm Tuesdays, June 20 through August 22, folks of all ages can walk or jog for the health of it with the Grove Walking & Jogging Club.

On Thursdays in July and August, special programming for all ages will be offered.

  • A magic show with Jack & Trixie is scheduled for 9 am July 6 and August 10 at Grove Park.
  • Storytime Yoga with local author Hiba Stancofski is scheduled for 9 am July 20 and August 24.
  • Kite-making, sponsored by Rehoboth Toy & Kite Company, will take place at 9 am July 13 and August 24 at Grove Park.
  • Envirotech will offer hands-on environmental education activities at 10 am July 28 and August 18 at Silver Lake.

In addition, the city has set up two volleyball courts on the beach at Hickman Street. The courts are available free of charge throughout the season on a first-come, first-served basis. Tennis and pickleball courts are available for rent on the north end of the beach near Deauville. Court time may be reserved and paid for under Pricing and Packages/Rehoboth Court Time here.
