Rehoboth adopts unchanged real estate tax rate

At its meeting this afternoon, the Board of Commissioners adopted a real estate tax rate of six cents (0.06) per $100 of assessed value for the tax year that begins July 1. The city’s real estate tax rate has remained unchanged for four years.

City property tax bills are mailed in late June with payments due by August 31.

The city expects to take in approximately $2 million in property tax revenue this year, accounting for less than 6% of the city’s $35.7 million fiscal year 2024 budget.
