Recycling of newspapers, magazines, narrow-neck plastic bottles, aluminum and steel cans, corrugated cardboard, boxboard, phone books, junk mall, glass and more reduces the volume of trash interred at the landfill, saves the City tipping fees and is environmentally friendly.

The City's Recyclables Collection Program, instituted in 2006, remains free of charge including providing free containers. To participate in this program, please complete and return our PDF icon Recycling Enrollment Form.

Please Note - the recycling station behind the fire company on Rehoboth Avenue has been removed due to the City Hall demolition and construction project. The nearest recycling station is located on American Legion Ave. next to the American Legion Post 17 in Lewes. (Go East on Savannah Road over the Canal Bridge and take the first right.)
