ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY ASSAULT SUSPECT

Rehoboth Beach Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a female that fled the scene of an assault that occurred during the evening hours of Monday,  August 13th inside a store located along the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.

Officers were called to the Tidal Rave’s Five & Dime at around 10:30pm for a report of an assault.  Upon arrival investigators learned that a white female, possibly Hispanic, with many tattoos who was wearing a black tank top, assaulted one store employee and spit on another after her children, who were eating ice cream inside the store, were asked to leave. 

The female suspect was accompanied by four children with whom she was last seen fleeing from the Boardwalk onto Rehoboth Avenue west bound. 

The attached photo, in which the female suspect is identified by the red arrows, was taken from store surveillance footage.    

Anyone with information as to the identity and/or location of the female suspect pictured is asked to please contact Cpl. Anyone having contact with the suspect vehicle is asked to immediately call 911.
