Rehoboth Elementary Art Exhibition a Success for Students and the Community

Jun 07, 2018

The opening reception of the Rehoboth Elementary 5th graders SNAP Rehoboth art exhibition at City Hall was a tremendous success, attracting a large crowd. The impressive show features iPad photographs from students who spent the last several months outside classroom walls. They used mobile technology as a learning and creation source capturing images in the city. It was wonderful to see so many students, parents and faculty come out in support of our artists. City Hall was full of laughter, amazement, and accomplishment. “This event gave students an opportunity to experience the traditional structure of an art show and was a wonderful community-builder. All the students should be extremely proud of the work they created. A very special thank you to art teacher Kellyann Ranieri for her help to make the show a possibility,” said City Manager Sharon Lynn. The students work will remain on display in the City Hall atrium through July 27. Exhibit hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
