Rehoboth Avenue
No parking in the median spaces from 10/28/16 10PM - 10/29/16 3PM (conclusion of parade).
No parking around Bandstand 10/29/16 & 10/30/16 5AM-5PM - Vendors.
4th Street
No parking entire street 10/29/16 5AM-3PM (conclusion of parade) - Staging area for parade walker participants.
Surfside Parking Lot/Lake Avenue
No parking throughout the entire parking lot and along the Lake Avenue side of the center median area 10/29/16 5AM - 10/30/16 5PM - Area designated for park and ride pick up and dog parade staging area on Sunday.
Senior Citizen Center Lot
The entire parking lot will be closed during the event as this is the staging area for the fire department.
City Hall Lot
Closed during the event to allocate for resource parking.
Road Closures
10/28/16 10PM - Left lanes of Rehoboth Avenue both E/B & W/B from 4th Street to Bandstand will be closed to allow company to erect crowd control barricades along medians.
10/29/16 6AM - Surfside Parking Lot closed to traffic - Park and Ride shuttle pick up and drop off area.
10/29/16 7:30AM - 4th Street closed to all traffic - Walker staging area.
Sussex from 5th to 4th Street closed.
Kent from 3rd to 4th Street closed.
Walker registration is located at Grub Grocery.
10/29/16 7:30AM - State Road from Hickman Street to Rehoboth Avenue closed to traffic - Rolling float staging area.
Floats should access area via State Road.
10/29/16 10:30AM - SR1 Entrance to Rehoboth Avenue closed by DelDot DSP in preparation for parade.
Rehoboth Avenue closed to E/B traffic at Traffic Circle.
Access to Rehoboth Avenue will be blocked at the following locations:
Wilmington Avenue & 1st Street
Wilmington Avenue & 2nd Street
Baltimore Avenue & 1st Street
Baltimore Avenue & 2nd Street
Christian Street & Scarborough Avenue
At the conclusion of the parade, the barricade company will remove all barricades from Rehoboth Avenue, the city will run a street sweeper and then traffic will be escorted back onto the parade route by police.
