Rehoboth Police Investigate Reported Armed Robbery

On Friday, July 10, 2015 at approximately 10:30pm, Rehoboth Beach Police responded to the pedestrian bridge area behind the Rehoboth Elementary School for a report of an armed robbery.

Through the course of investigation it was determined that two juveniles were approached by a white male suspect in his 20's, with a brown goatee and shoulder length brown hair. The suspect was reported as wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with some sort of emblem on his left breast area, light colored pants and flip flops. The suspect displayed what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun and robbed the juveniles of money. The suspect was observed leaving in a smaller model vehicle that was parked in the area of Stockley Street near the Tot Lot and pedestrian bridge.
