Rehoboth Police Investigate Bike Theft

On Sunday, June 8, 2014 at approximately 7:30 am Rehoboth Police responded to the Crosswinds Motel, 312 Rehoboth Avenue for a reported bike theft.  Rehoboth Police were able to retrieve video surveillance showing the suspect, a black male, 150-200 lbs, approximately 25-35 years old, wearing a dark colored short sleeve shirt and tan pants enter the parking lot at approximately 7:00am.  The suspect appears to walk around the parking lot area and view the bike in the stairwell.  The suspect then returns with a late model blue SUV, possibly a Kia Sorrento, and cuts the lock on the bike, a 2009 gray Trek Soho, the suspect places the bike in the rear hatch of the vehicle and exits the parking lot.  Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Sgt.
