Rehoboth Police Investigate Arcade Wallet Theft

On Sunday, July 20, 2014 around 11:30pm Officers from the Rehoboth Beach Police Department responded to The Beach Arcade, 5 N. Boardwalk for a theft complaint.   Officers were advised that the male suspect (pictured) removed a wallet from a victim’s unattended purse.  The male suspect, described as a white male 20-30 years old, 6 ‘ 00”-6’ 02”, with short dark hair, trimmed beard, wearing a blue button down shirt, jeans and white shoes left the area prior to officers arrival.   A female suspect (also pictured), described as a white female, in her 20’s with long dark hair, wearing a purple striped shirt and multi-colored leggings was also with the male suspect.  The male suspect was observed on video surveillance removing the wallet containing $150 cash, various credit cards and several checkbooks from the victim’s purse.   The victim’s wallet, minus the $150, was recovered on Monday, July 25th from a trash can in the area of Baltimore Avenue and the Boardwalk.  Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact Lt.
