Lewes/Rehoboth Draw Bridge Repairs Public Information Meeting May 3

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will host a public information meeting to discuss the proposed rehabilitation of movable Bridge 3-153 carrying SR1A Rehoboth Avenue over the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal and the proposed rehabilitation of movable Bridge 3-154 carrying Business US9 Savannah Road over the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal. The purpose of the workshop is to present details of the anticipated schedule and traffic impacts of the upcoming bridge rehabilitation work on the vehicular, pedestrian and vessel traffic at this location. The work is necessary to extend the service life of the bridges by upgrading and repairing the electrical, mechanical and structural systems on the bridge.

The workshop will be open to the public from 4 pm to 7 pm, May 3, 2017, in the cafeteria/atrium of the Cape Henlopen High School, located at 1250 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
