On Monday, March 16, 2015, Rehoboth Police Responded to the 400 Block of Rehoboth Avenue, Renove Med Spa in reference to a theft of a purse. Through the course of investigation it was determined that the suspect pictured entered the location at approximately 1:00pm and removed the victim’s purse from the front counter area and fled the location. The suspect, described as a black male 40 to 50 years of age, bald, wearing a dark colored jacket, jeans, white tennis shoes and a maroon colored button down shirt, was captured on video surveillance entering the location and leaving the location with the purse tucked in his jacket. After leaving the location, the suspect walked westbound on Rehoboth toward the canal bridge. The purse was later found at a bus stop just outside of Burton Village North Church Street where it was determined that the suspect removed over $500 in cash.
