Employment Opportunity - Administrative Assistant, Building & Licensing Department

This is a full-time position responsible for accepting permit and licensing applications, scheduling various types of inspections, responding to public inquiries, and providing clerical support to the Building & Licensing Department and the City Secretary for the City of Rehoboth Beach.

Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Office products. Poses the ability to quickly absorb knowledge of office practices and procedures. Sound skills in public relations, organization and time management, are required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department heads, employees, city officials, members of the community and the general public. Must have the ability to effectively and accurately communicate verbally and in writing.
