At around 9:00pm, Rehoboth Beach Police were called to Blackwall Hitch for a report of a disorderly person later identified as Martin.  Upon arrival, officers learned from the restaurant staff that Martin had left the business. Through investigative means, officers learned that prior to their arrival Martin, a former employee, allegedly entered the restaurant attempting to collect tax documents from the manager.  When advised that the documents were not available, Martin allegedly became disorderly yelling profanity.  Another employee attempted to walk Martin out of the restaurant, at which time she allegedly punched him in the face.

Upon approaching the vehicle and making contact with Martin, officers observed that she showed signs of intoxication.  Subsequently, Martin was administered standardized field sobriety tests and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Martin was transported to Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware for additional testing.  Further investigation revealed that Martin had three prior alcohol related driving convictions making this her fourth offense and a felony.

In addition, during an inventory search of her vehicle, officers located a small amount of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia.
