Contractor parking permits

May 24, 2018

Please be advised that on Friday, May 18, 2018 the Mayor and Commissioners approved an ordinance to amend Section 92-264 of the Municipal Code related to special considerations and exceptions for the issuing of parking permits. Among the amendments made was the deletion of Subsection 92-264(C)(7) related to service vehicles which are clearly marked, e.g., plumber, electrician, and cable television. Following these City Code amendments, contractors must present a valid, City of Rehoboth Beach parking permit to park on the residential streets within City limits. If you expect to have multiple vehicles working at a specific location, each vehicle will require a permit. Parking permits are available for sale at the following locations:

Parking Meter Department - 1 City Hall Drive, off of Lake Avenue behind 30 Lake Avenue.

Check-in time at several local Real Estate Offices and the Visitors Center, 501 Rehoboth Avenue (weekly, weekend and weekday permits only).
