City Hall generator testing August 7 & 10

On Monday, August 7, and Thursday, August 10, the city will be performing commissioning and load bank testing of its new generator for City Hall. The testing will begin at 8:30 a.m. until approximately 4:30 p.m. The generator is located behind the Convention Center. This testing is required by the manufacturer to inspect internal components of the generator itself. During the load bank test, there will be loud noise and a constant buzzing sound. There will be no vehicle or pedestrian access in the driveway adjacent to the generator during this time. No interruption of electricity supply will occur during testing.
