Canal Street repairs underway

Equipment mobilized March 6 and work is underway today to remove trees that uprooted a stormwater manhole site at the corner of 6th Street and Canal Street. This work will correct the issues with the storm drain system and damage to the canal bank along Canal Street.

The intersection of 6th Street and Canal Street is closed during this work. No driveways will be blocked during this closure. This work is expected to take approximately two weeks. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
