Elections

The next City of Rehoboth Beach municipal election will be Saturday, August 13, 2022. At that time, two Board of Commissioner posts will be on the ballot.

Candidates interested in running for the Board of Commissioners must submit nominating petitions. Information about the nominating petitions and important deadlines for candidates and registering to vote will be posted to this page in the spring.

2021 election results

On August 14, City of Rehoboth Beach voters elected Tim Bennett and Mary “Toni” Sharp to three-year terms on the Board of Commissioners.

Some 1,190 voters participated in the 2021 annual municipal election, including 572 absentee voters. 

Official vote tallies for each of the four candidates are as follows:

Bennett and Sharp will be sworn in at the September 17 Board of Commissioners meeting.
