Services/Responsibilities

The Rehoboth Beach Patrol ensures the highest degree of public safety for users of the entire 1.5 mile stretch of beach within the corporate city limits. Rehoboth Beach lifeguards work hard to ensure that beach patrons have a safe and enjoyable stay while visiting our beaches.

Check out results from the 40th annual USLA Mid-Atlantic Regional Lifesaving Championships hosted in Rehoboth Beach July 7. Please note that results are not complete and do not include results from July 13 "boat day" competitions in Long Branch, NJ.

The Rehoboth Beach Patrol utilizes state-of-the-art GPS portable digital radios that are linked to the beach patrol communications center, located at headquarters. The patrol headquarters houses an emergency medical unit and administrative offices.

ADA Access Beach Wheels Hours of Operation - 10 am-5 pm 7 days a week in-season.
