Services/Responsibilities

The public works department is responsible for taking care of city facilities and infrastructure. Staff members work to ensure that the city is safe and attractive for citizens and visitors. The department oversees the city's water and wastewater services, building and grounds maintenance, trash and recycling services, and street maintenance and improvements.
