The Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force will hold a Virtual Meeting** on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE - AS PERMITTED BY GUBERNATORIAL AUTHORITY, IN ORDER TO LIMIT THE RISK OF POTENTIAL COVID-19 EXPOSURE, THE PUBLIC SHALL BE DENIED ENTRY TO THE WILMINGTON/BALTIMORE AVENUE STREETSCAPE TASK FORCE MEETING.(1)  THE PUBLIC IS ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WILMINGTON/BALTIMORE AVENUE STREETSCAPE TASK FORCE MEETING ELECTRONICALLY.  FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS ARE LISTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS AGENDA.

     A. Discussion and vote on the need or not for conducting a Traffic Study as a prerequisite to or to augment the design process.

     B. Discussion and vote on presented streetscape design concepts:

                      Utilizing one-way streets.

                     Undergrounding of utilities.

                     Utilizing limited vehicle access zones.

                     Enhancing the current layout.

6. New Business

     A. Discussion on visions contemplated in the 2009 Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) and discussion and possible vote on current visions related to the proposed Wilmington-Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Design Concept Project.

**The Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force is holding this meeting under the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.(1)  The meeting will be conducted using video-conference technology.

Members of the public wishing to speak will be required to pre-register with Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.

Citizen comment will be administered by a moderator to ensure everyone has an opportunity to comment.  You will not be able to speak until called upon by the moderator.

Registered members of the public joining the meeting on the phone or by computer will be provided an opportunity to make comments during agenda topics after discussion by the Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force or at the discretion of the Chair and prior to any vote being taken.  Speakers shall state their name and address.  Comments are limited to three (3) minutes or at the discretion of the Chair.

Public presentations are not allowed without the prior approval of the Mayor.

The City will stream the meeting using the same technology it uses during its chamber broadcast that can be viewed on the City portal at /Portal/ or YouTube.  This stream will broadcast the meeting, the public will not be able to comment or speak using this broadcast.  The stream will experience a 30-second delay.

The Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force meeting materials, including the "packet", are electronically accessible on the City's portal at /Portal/.

If any member of the public would like to submit comments electronically, please feel free to send them to [email protected].  All comments shall be submitted at least two (2) full business days prior to the meeting date to allow for proper distribution.
