SEAFORD MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING PROPERTY FROM VEHICLES

Adam Miller, 38, of Seaford, Del. was arrested by Rehoboth Beach Police Wednesday (10/31/18) for warrants stemming from multiple thefts committed on October 21st and 22nd, 2018. 

On October 23rd, 2018 Rehoboth Beach Police received information from the Seaford Police Department that while conducting a separate investigation they had found property belonging to multiple Rehoboth resident’s amongst Miller’s belongings.  Investigators determined that Miller stole the property when he entered three separate unlocked vehicles parked at residences along Cookman Street and Columbia Avenue.  Miller removed personal property, gift cards, and registration documents from the vehicles valued at less than $1500.00.  Investigators were able to locate and recover multiple stolen items and return them to the victims.

Miller was arrested and charged with 1 count of felony theft under $1500 where victim is 62 years or older and 2 counts of misdemeanor theft under $1500.  

Miller was released on $4000.00 unsecured bail.
