Bridge Repairs Will Require the Closure of SR 1A/Silver Lake Drive
WHEN: 7 AM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 until 5 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018, pending weather.
WHERE: SR 1A/Silver Lake Drive (Bridge over Silver Lake) between Lake Drive and Robinson Drive, Rehoboth.
WHAT: DelDOT’s contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete Inc. will be replacing the bridge joints, repairing the adjacent approach asphalt roadway, repairing the timber slab, and making minor concrete deck repairs on the bridge.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists:
To continue North, use SR 1 to, right turn on State Road, then right turn on Rehoboth Avenue. To continue South from the North side of Silver Lake, use Bayard Avenue to left turn on to SR1A - Rehoboth Avenue. then Left turn on State Road to SR1 - Coastal Hwy southbound.
