Amidst a decade of social and political upheaval, the 1970’s laid the foundation for multiple musical styles that continue to captivate the world and influence today’s artists. Rock, pop, folk, soul, disco & punk all carved out their places on our radios and turntables.

Comprised of 7 veteran musicians, 70’s Flashback pays tribute to the greatest groups and artists of the decade – and through their true passion for the music, bring that original excitement to both a new generation & to those who experienced it the first time!

70’s Flashback invites their audiences to step back in time, as they bring to life on stage this incredible soundtrack of a generation. From Carole King & Three Dog Night, to The Doobie Brothers & Led Zeppelin, to Studio 54 & CBGB – 70’s Flashback’s stellar harmonies & note for note musical re-creations leave their fans with a deeper appreciation for the music of this historic decade!

Their high energy, show-stopping performances continue to have audiences singing along to every iconic lyric, dancing in the aisles, and re-living the promise of the grooviest music ever written!

US Army Jazz Ambassadors

The Jazz Ambassadors—America’s Big Band is the official touring big band of the United States Army. This 19-member ensemble, formed in 1969, has received great acclaim both at home and abroad performing America’s original art form, jazz.

Concerts by the Jazz Ambassadors are designed to entertain all types of audiences. Custom compositions and arrangements highlight the group’s creative talent and gifted soloists. Their diverse repertoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals, and patriotic selections.

The band has appeared in all fifty states, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, and throughout Europe. Notable performances include concerts at international jazz festivals in Montreux, Switzerland; Newport, Rhode Island; Toronto, Canada; Brussels, Belgium; and the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. In 1995, the Jazz Ambassadors performed in England, Wales, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Czech Republic in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the end of World War II. The band has also been featured in unique joint concerts with major orchestras, including the Detroit and Baltimore symphonies.

The British Invasion Experience pays tribute to not just one act but an entire genre that changed the face of music, from The Beatles to The Who, from The Hollies to Led Zeppelin. The British Invasion Experience gives audiences a memorable, electrifying, and exciting night, by taking a trip down memory lane with a musical journey experience; leaving our audiences wanting more. Inspired by these music icons, the members of The British Invasion Experience are dedicated to engaging their audiences as they flashback to the English groups of the 60’s.

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is a music and entertainment venue located in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series takes place every year from mid-June through Labor Day Weekend and has been providing FREE entertainment for Rehoboth Beach and its visitors since 1963! Each year, over 40 bands are selected to perform in an open-air concert venue just steps from the beach. The goal of the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is to provide entertainment through music, movies, variety acts, and other local, regional, and national performances.

All performances begin at 8 pm, Friday-Sunday (unless otherwise noted).  All concerts are sponsored by the City of Rehoboth Beach or individual sponsors.
