Employment Opportunity - Streets Department Laborer

The City of Rehoboth Beach is currently seeking a full-time Streets Department Laborer. The position requires semi-skilled and manual labor to include the operation of trash trucks, pickups and other equipment to clean and maintain municipal streets, beaches and other public areas. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; work outside for extended periods with exposure to heat, noise, odors, and inclement weather conditions. Must be at least 18 years of age with a vocational school, high school, GED diploma or equivalent work experience. A valid driver's license is required; CDL preferred. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test, a physical examination, and background investigation.
