New Exhibitions at City Hall

January 25th, 2019 - 5:00 pm - January 25th, 2019 - 7:00 pm

The City of Rehoboth Beach will be hosting the opening reception for the Rehoboth Art League’s Animal Farm II exhibition and new photography by the Coastal Camera Club. The RAL exhibition will feature works from Bethany Beach-based artists Laura Hickman and Wayne Weeks. Hickman and Weeks were the featured artists of Animal Farm, a 2018 RAL Members’ Showcase exhibition, which was held on the art league’s historic Henlopen Acres campus. The works in this current exhibition demonstrate the creativity and the highly developed artistic and photographic skills enjoyed by these artists. The reception will take place on January 25 from 5-7 p.m. at City Hall, located at 229 Rehoboth Avenue, in Rehoboth Beach.

The Rehoboth Art League is a membership-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to teaching, preserving, and inspiring the arts in the region. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.

The Coastal Camera Club, coastalcameraclub.com, is a member-based organization consisting of over 250 photographers, from beginner to professional. The purpose of the club is to encourage and promote member interest in all phases of photography and to encourage active participation in the education of fellow members through the sharing of skills and experiences. The group holds contests and presents awards, as well as promotes the photographic effort of its members through local exhibitions and displays.
