Recycling reduces the volume of trash at landfills, saves the city tipping fees, and is good for our environment. Through a contract with Blue Hen Disposal, the City of Rehoboth Beach provides curbside single-stream recycling of:

  • newspapers and magazines
  • narrow-neck plastic bottles
  • aluminum and steel cans
  • corrugated cardboard and boxboard
  • junk mail and other paper products
  • glass

The city provides one free recycling container to residents. To participate in this program, complete and return our

Materials acceptable and unacceptable for recycling in Delaware.
