Rehoboth Police Seek Identity of Suspect in Wallet and Credit Card Theft

On Sunday, July 5th at approximately 3:30 pm, Rehoboth Beach Police received a complaint of a theft and unauthorized use of a credit card.

Through the course of the investigation it was determined that the victim left his wallet at Grotto’s, 15 South Boardwalk sometime around 1:00pm on Sunday July 5, 2015. When the victim returned for his wallet approximately 2 hours later, it was discovered that it had been removed from that location. The victim notified his various credit card issuing companies of the theft and canceled the credit cards. It was determined that two of the victims credit cards were used at various locations around the boardwalk area for purchases adding up to $132.

Surveillance at two locations captured the suspect described as a black female, wearing royal blue pants, royal blue sneakers, a black tank top and a royal blue hat.
