The Coastal Delaware Running Festival, a combined marathon, half marathon, and 9K running event, will take place on Sunday, April 24th, 2016 beginning at 7:00am. The event is expected to last until 3:00pm. All three running event will pass through Rehoboth Beach causing the following road closures:
Surf Avenue from Henlopen Avenue to Lake Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Lake Avenue from First Street to Surf Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Columbia Avenue from First Street to Surf Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Scarborough Avenue from Stockley Street to Lake Drive will be closed to through traffic.
Lake Drive from King Charles Avenue to Scarborough Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Delays can be expected in the areas of the above listed closures and on the following roads in particular:
State Road
Hickman Street
Stockley Street
Bayard Avenue
Columbia Avenue
Henlopen Avenue
