The Rehoboth Beach Police Department 9-1-1 Dispatch Center provides Police Dispatching services to the CIty of Rehoboth Beach, and Fire/BLS Dispatching services to the fire territory of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, which incorporates the City of Rehoboth Beach, The Town of Henlopen Acres, the Town of Dewey Beach, and the unincorporated areas surrounding them. The Department currently employs 1 Communications Supervisor, and 8 full-time dispatchers. The Department is an independent 9-1-1 Center, but also has some secondary roles in the provision of EMS Services.
