Rehoboth has a vibrant business community consisting of dining, shopping, spas, recreation and lodging establishments in all price categories.  Many business are located within three to four blocks of one another and within easy walking distance of the parks, lakes, beach and one mile boardwalk.  Rehoboth has a growing population.  According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1,556; and its seasonal population expands to over 25,000 within the city limits and thousands more in the surrounding area in the summer.
